Colin Campbell

It's me, Col, your pal from those videos that probably feature my feet too much given the fact that it's a sexual fetish for a surprising number of people. BUT if you really want to get to know me in sincerity please follow and support my Patreon where I share the behind the scenes of my builds, footage the craziest stories from my life (like that time in Dublin when our airbnb hostess got hammered and fell down her staircase...) and videos of my personal travels and adventures.

  • WHO?

I'm a guy probably in his mid 20's to early 30's trying to carve out a career as a YouTuber/Maker. I'm also a guy who's trying not to spiral into an existential crisis by trying to answer this question... But ColiCrud was a nickname given by a family friend's dad, Tom Morris. I'm into too many things from basketball to Batman and everything in between but never have enough time to enjoy it all! These day's if I'm not making videos I'm playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, hanging with the pets or enjoying the outdoors.

  • WHAT?

I like to let my intrusive thoughts win and then turn them into a reality. What if I could ride a circular saw? What if I could kayak down a 14er? I love sports, the outdoors and making things sketchy to get a little jolt of excitement and adventure. So I set out to attempt to build things that usually, mostly... kinda work. I wanted to mix my raunchy sense of humor with my loves of sports and building things then I stumbled across I Did A Thing's channel and realized 'holy shit this genre kind of exists and can work at the highest level!'

  • WHEN?

I launched the ColiCrud channel in 2022 when I recognized I was unhappy with my career and wanted to do something I loved. So I started making videos then promptly tore my ACL. Now with all that free time on my hands (not being able to snowboard, play basketball, frisbee etc.) I decided to double down on YouTube. I aimed to learn and improve my skillset as fast as possible. The more I made, the more committed I became and excited for the future adventures this path would bring.

  • WHERE?

I grew up in Gainesville Florida then moved out to Boulder Colorado after graduating from the University of Florida for the mountains and seasons. I'll always love Florida so I'm sure you'll see me repping my Gators often and that's why. Gainesville will always be home, but now I live in Denver where I could actually afford to buy a home and scare my neighbors in a backyard of my own.

  • WHY?????

I get this questions a lot and it's simply for the love of the game! I was raised being told to "Find what you love to do and be the best at it" and it only took me until I was almost 30 to finally get the first part of that statement down. Also, after my quarter life crisis I realized I only felt fulfilled and proud of myself when I MAKE SOMETHING! And to add to that, I realized being a YouTuber was actually what I wanted to do after high school making a channel with my friends but then the pressure and expectations lead me elsewhere and I'm fortunate that many of the skills I developed along the way are directly applicable to building a business of my own!
